Pineberry Manufacturing, located in Etobicoke, is a manufacture of automated packaging and custom paper handling machinery.
We are currently looking for a PROJECT LEADER/MECHANICAL DESIGNER to manage multiple projects; developing project plans in advance of project activity and ensuring effective execution by the design team.
Responsibilities include:
(1) The successful execution of the project design including meeting all milestone deadlines, timely release of long lead items and standard components, problem resolution and regular status reports.
(2) Formulate, initiate and develop mechanical designs and specifications for roll equipment, tooling and associated equipment.
(3) Create all machine shop detail drawings, mechanical components, and sub-assembly and assembly drawings, ensure they are 100% complete before release to the shop floor.
(4) Verify all final design documentation, parts lists and drawings according to engineering standards to ensure completeness and accuracy.
(5) Oversee and assist assembly and testing of machines by providing technical support to manufacturing and assembly.
Requirements for this role:
• Mechanical Engineering degree with a minimum of 4 years experience in project management and design of capital equipment.
• Advanced computer skills are required with experience in Mechanical Desktop and Inventor or some advanced version(s) of other 3D design software.
• Exellent written and verbal English communications skills ARE A MUST.
• Proven ability to co-ordinate and juggle many tasks.

• Some travel may be required
