Pineberry Manufacturing Inc.’s Cut-to-Length Feeder cuts various sized roll stocks, minimizing scrap and enhancing just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing order fulfillment processes.

Toronto, ON, June 29, 2017 – Pineberry Manufacturing Inc. will be exhibiting PACK EXPO Las Vegas with a Cut-to-Length (CTL) Feeding System.  The Cut-to-Length Feeding Systems manufactured by Pineberry Manufacturing Inc. quickly and efficiently automatically cut and dispense roll stock products and desiccants for the packaging and food and beverage industries.  Automatically feed, cut, count and dispense on demand the required products from a roll stock, minimizing scrap and enhancing just-in-time manufacturing order fulfillment processes.  The Cut-to-Length Feeding System can be integrated into an existing line or as a stand-alone solution.

“The Cut-to-Length Feeding System we’re exhibiting with at PACK EXPO Las Vegas will feed, cut, count and dispense a roll stock of desiccants to be cut 1.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide,” states David McCharles, President of Pineberry Manufacturing Inc.  “Cut-to-Length technology reduces scraps with on demand one-shot cuts, eliminating the need for a large inventory of cut products.  Our Cut-to-Length Feeding System is easy to use as a stand-alone unit or as an in-line component with an easy to use operator interface PLC touchscreen,” continues Mr. McCharles.  “Our Cut-to-Length product lines feature roll and belt feeding and we can manufacture with a stepper motor or servo motor, depending on customers’ requirements,” concludes Mr. McCharles.

Pineberry Manufacturing Inc.’s Cut-to-Length Feeding Systems are fully automatic and requires only one operator to load the roll stock.  Roll stocks include wax paper, tissue paper, soaker pads, labels, food and three-dimensional products.  Using sensor technology, the Cut-to-Length Feeding Systems cut products based on thickness, length or print marks within the products roll stock, producing a clean cut, reducing scraps, waste, unnecessary inventory and manual costs, increasing order fulfillment, efficiency and accuracy, enhancing just-in-time manufacturing.
