Pineberry Manufacturing Inc. to Showcase FlexJet DOD Personalization System in Booth S-1432 at PACK EXPO, November 6-9, 2016

Pineberry Manufacturing Inc.'s Drop on Demand (DOD) Personalization System barcodes, codes and personalizes up to 60,000 cards per hour.

Toronto, ON, October 4, 2016 – Pineberry Manufacturing Inc. will be exhibiting at PACK EXPO 16 with the FlexJet DOD Personalization System.  The FlexJet DOD Personalization System barcodes, codes, labels, prints and personalizes plastic cards, lottery tickets, envelopes, letters, magazine subscriptions, and much more.  The FlexJet DOD Personalization System is comprised of a conveyor transport belt with a Pineberry HSF Friction Feeder, labeler, DOD printer (inkjet or laser printer), verification camera, UV lamp, reject and exit shingling conveyor.

“We offer a full line of versatile plastic card personalization systems,” states David McCharles, President of Pineberry Manufacturing Inc.  “These systems range from high end DOD systems with magnetic strip encoding, phone card systems, high speed thermal printers and mini inkjet solutions,” continues Mr. McCharles.  “Exhibiting at PACK EXPO, the FlexJet DOD on display will include a Pineberry HSF 12 Friction Feeder, labeler applying scratch-off labels on plastic cards, Atlantic Zeiser inkjet printer, UV lamp, and a Lake Image camera verification system. We will feed, print and apply scratch offs to plastic cards at a speed of 40 meters per minute,” concludes Mr. McCharles.

The FlexJet DOD is a proven high quality solution for personalizing plastic cards, lottery tickets and other flat media.  Pineberry offers DOD UV/LED, CIJ (Continuous Inkjet) and HP heads with custom inks or toners that adhere to the product material being fed.  This inkjet solution is project specific, customized to the needs of the customer.  The FlexJet DOD prints up to 400 DPI resolution in X and Y direction using DOD.  The resolution is flexible and can be altered according to job requirements.
